World Bank, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project
RWSSP-2 focuses on development of financial model to help plan, prioritize and develop investment
programs and projects in the rural Water Supply and Sanitation sector.
K.S. Solutions assisted by the research and
the collection of respective data necessary for financial modelling as well as by development of the financial model for
the investment plan prepared by the international consultant.
The project ́s objective
is to assist to the Kyrgyz Republic to improve access to potable water for participating
communities, promote hygiene, sanitation and water-related practices in rural areas as well as strengthen institutional
framework and capacities to sustain continued RWSS sector development
►Assessment of the current situation in the WSS sector (preparation and distribution of the questionnaires to
CDWUUs, Municipalities and Vodokanals, validation of data with stakeholders)
►Assisting by the preparation of the Inception report
►Definition of the target KPIs and allocation of annual capital expenditures to meet the KPIs alongside key assumptions (oblast level, aggregated to national level)
►Preparation of 5y, 15y and 25y investment programs, attaching estimates of ancillary costs
